There is always hope in Him
Time to turn around
Oh how many times I found
Myself upon the ground

But He always picks me up
His love blows me away
Don’t think I’d have the patience
To forgive us every day

His mercies new each morning
How’s that for another chance
Each day He gives His promise
A heavenly romance

It’s not about religion
My life has shown me so
It’s relationship with our Creator
The Lover of our souls

That concept seems to blow the mind
Religion can’t conceive
Not a list of do’s and don’ts
The goal is to believe

And as we get to know Him
It’s love that drives the way
I sure don’t want to hurt Him
From sin I run away

So if you think you’re hopeless
Take another look
Jesus loves forgiving
It’s written in the book

He is there and waiting
For you to call on Him
There’s nothing you could ever do
That can’t be forgiven by Him

Don’t let self condemnation
Despising of yourself
Ever keep you from Him
He sees a different self

With love He sees potential
Of every single soul
Don’t miss what He is offering
He wants to make you whole
