In the Twilight
My body paralyzed,
breathing, eye's closed, asleep...
In the pitch black and unwatched,
breeds a mind unchained, adventurous.
Let me go,
These worlds far from fiction,
Enter smoothly like her curves,
Gently like her smile.
Light blinding proceeds into my open thoughts,
Binding into my memory,
I retrieve it hazy and unformed,
I percieve it the sign of destiny.
Go on into the night,
To the sea of a hopeless adventure,
Stalking me on the floor,
My mind taunts me.
Enter darkness again,
Just to dive back into the light,
Half-naked the beauty,
Guiding my hands.
On the paper,
Only to form a crude image,
Still in the darkness,
A door locking my mind in the light.
My body lies in the dark,
My mind stays trapped in the light,
My soul stands in between,
In the twilight.
