Take Me Away

You she her sitting there
eating a avocado with a spoon
Sitting by the cold Atlantic
watching the tide roll in
Strappy heels tossed in the sand
a sign of late night gone well
A distant stare as she reflects
on the night past
Sunrising upon her face
you can see that she longs for warmer
cleared Oceans of blue turquoise
Take me away is written on her face
As she walks along the water line
red heels dangling from her red finger tips
As she disappears from my sight
She turns her head over her shoulder for
one last look, goodnight.
