Lived, the spirit
Within this man

Was he
One to complain
For circumstances, accept, but understand

Rarely,
Would he even sigh
Rant or even grumble
Took everything, in ones' own stride
When pain caused him to stumble

Always, admired and adored
Grateful, for friends, and being blessed
Never mistaken, nor ignored
Lived, full life, one of happiness

Recalling, those special memories
Is only, just a start
How he touched the lives of many
And will live on, in all our hearts.
