Friday morning is here
How I feel is not clear
Have to get through another day
Time always has its way
Rich or poor
Everyone endures time's chore
It touches you to the core
and asks for more
Time crashes over me
Like a wave pounds the sand
I don't understand
Yet I try to reach dry land
Some flow with the waves
Some ride the waves
I survive the waves
