it was that one at that one perfect moment,
now years later,
i listen and reminice,
recalling exact time and location,
remembering when i was enraged in anger,
in love,
in pain,
in laughter and goodtimes,
the sadness from life as the smiles,
my trials and upsides,
it was that one song that got me thru it ,
that one song that felt like i felt,
that one sonnet that made me realize it was gonna be better,
and that one tune that never let me forget to stay humble
and remember my beginnings,
the one that inspired me to release my emotions thru poetry and never thru violence,
that one song that had me nodding my head as if i agreed,
and the one that made me wanna dance,
with my little and big sisters,
my mother and my girlfriend,
the one that gave life an upbeat,
tht one song in repeat that forever plays on and on...
