What is True Love?

Sometimes I ask myself what is true love?

The signs and symbols of hearts and a dove.

With hand in hand and heart to heart,

And promises to another that you will never part.

Is it happiness and harmony all the years long?

Or crying alone with every sad song?

Is love really true or does it come as you go?

How long will it take before you truly know?

Does love really hurt or is it the crime of a heart?

Is it meant to feel comforting from the eyes of the start?

Is it so hard to love so true?

Do you need to act or just be you?

Does true love last until the day you die?

Does it end painfully with never ending cry?

Look in my eyes and tell me what you see,

A life of true love and happiness with me.

I want true love to fill my future life,

I want a true husband, and to be a true wife.
