The life of the lonely

People come and people go,

Who will stay, you never know.

Who can you trust, and who will play,

Who will be true and mean what they say.

Today's best friend, is tomorrows bend,

If a relationship's not real how can it come to an end?

Many "friends" your heart they'll hack,

Now true friendships will always lack.

Is a relationship worth the pain and strain?

How do I know if a true friends to gain?

You say "you can trust me" which really means don't,

I say I will trust you, but really I won't.

Unless (not knowing) you've been that unwanted girl,

You won't understand the loneliness of my heart twined in twirl.
