Nick, you lay tiny, and helpess in my mothers arms.

Your big sister got in some trouble, and mommy didn't like it.
Haley did drugs, so mommy threw a fit.
It happens to adults, they cry too.
So don't feel ashamed if that's all mommy can do.
She's had a tough life, through out it, she's cried.
So promise me you'll be there for her, and stick by her side.
I've tried to end my life, it didn't turn out well.
But now when I think about suicide, your picture pops up in my mind.
I realize, then, I have something to live for, something that betters my life in SO many ways.
Nick, I love talking to you, because you always listen, and don't criticize me.
When you're big and old like me, you'll understand why I had to leave.
You're still just a baby, but you'll always be as big as the world to me.
You're my little brother, but much more than the eye can see.
You'll go through it too, all of mommy's kids did.
You'll have a hard life, but I'll be there through it.
