(Kiara continues to walk towards Hiyoshi)

Kiara: Hiyo!!! Hunnie…I’m sorry about the way that I acted earlier today. I called you a little while ago, but you didn’t answer. I figured you were in the shower or something, so I left you a message, figuring that you would get it sooner or later. I assume, since you are here, that you got it.

Hiyoshi: Well, sorry, hunnie...I didn’t –

(Miyuki bites Hiyoshi’s leg)

Hiyoshi: OWWWW!

Kiara: (shocked) Ow? What’s wrong?

Hiyoshi: (nervously) Oh! I-I meant Oh! I just remembered about the message. Yeah, I, uhhhh….was in the shower.

(Hiyoshi laughs nervously)

(Hiyoshi kicks Miyuki lightly and shakes his foot to signal a “no”)

Kiara: You know, Hiyo…you are really weird. But that is what I like about you!

(Kiara decides to sit down next to Hiyoshi, not knowing that Miyuki was right in between them.)

(Miyuki thinks to herself, “Who the hell is this girl? And why is she calling him “hunnie”? Ooooohhh when I get done with her, she won’t be able to lay another finger on him. Literally! And not just metaphorically, I mean PHYSICALLY! But whatever…I will keep my eye on this girl.”)

Hiyoshi: Soooooo, can you forgive me for the way I was? I didn’t mean to act cold toward you.

Kiara: It’s okay, sweetie. I guess I jumped the gun when I acted like that. Sorry.

(Kiara leans over to kiss Hiyoshi, though Miyuki sees her attempting to do so.)

(Miyuki grabs Hiyoshi by the tie and pulls.)

(Hiyoshi’s head goes face-first into the table.)

Kiara: What the?!

Hiyoshi: Sorry…had to scratch my leg. I guess I am just clumsy today.

(Hiyoshi chuckles nervously.)

Kiara: Okay…..? Something isn’t right here….Alright, what is with you today? First, you reject my feelings, and then you decline me kissing you, saying that it is all because you are clumsy? I am starting to think that you don’t like me.

Hiyoshi: Look! I do! I have never stopped liking you!

(Hiyoshi reaches over to hug her, but bumps into Miyuki, knocking her into Kiara.)

(Kiara stumbles and falls)

(Kiara winces and starts to look up at Hiyoshi, but notices Miyuki.)

Kiara: Excuse me?! Who is this?!

Hiyoshi: (nervous) I was about to tell you about her. She is—

Miyuki: (angrily)—I am his soul mate!

Hiyoshi: My what?!

Kiara: HIS WHAT?! WHAT THE HELL! HIYO, HOW COULD YOU!!!

Hiyoshi: No, she isn’t! She is an pastime girlfriend, who is now my—

Kiara: (says loudly) –Your soul mate!

Miyuki: That’s right! So back off!

Hiyoshi: Look, Miyu, just shut it for a second!

Miyuki: B-but….

Kiara: Oh, I see! Now I totally see! You treat your soul mate like that now? Well, you know what?! I am glad that I didn’t give you the chance to ask me to marry you. What, with the way you treat a woman, like her!

Hiyoshi: B-but—

Kiara: (severely angry) –BUT NOTHING! WE…ARE…DONE!!!

(Kiara storms out of the building, with people watching her as she heads out of sight.)

[End of scene 6 of "A Winter's Lullaby". Will Miyuki decide to stay with Hiyoshi or will she leave him? Will Hiyoshi ever see Kiara ever again? Who knows!]
