A Winter's Lullaby (Part 4)
(Narrator: That night, Hiyoshi goes back home and sits down to watch television for a while)
Hiyoshi: (Saying to himself) I am such an idiot… Dammit! She was only trying to help me and now I made her cry. She probably doesn’t want to talk to me now.
(Phone rings)
(Hiyoshi walks over to the phone slowly)
Hiyoshi: (Says to himself again) ….Dare I answer...
(Hiyoshi struggles to answer the phone.)
Hiyoshi: Hello…?
Mysterious Voice: Hi, is this the Ryuka residence?
Hiyoshi: It is. Who is this?
Miyuki: It’s me, Miyuki, Do you remember me?
Hiyoshi: M-Miyuki?! I-I….h-how did you get my number?
Miyuki: You don’t remember? You gave it to me, back in sixth grade. We were attracted to one another back then. I can’t believe you don’t remember.
Hiyoshi: I-I’m sorry….I have bad memory.
Miyuki: It’s okay. I can imagine after so many years. Hey,…..ummm…..do you want to go somewhere tonight?
(Hiyoshi, taken back by this response, decides to respond.)
Hiyoshi: L-like where?
Miyuki: I don’t know. Maybe, hmmm….the Hikari Café, in downtown Kyoto?
Hiyoshi: Hmmmm…..I’ll have to see if there is anything on my calendar.
(Goes over to the calendar in the living room, while holding the phone.)
Hiyoshi: Hmmm….well, today was my parent’s anniversary….but seeing as though none of them are here, I guess—
Miyuki: --what do you mean, “None of them are here”?
Hiyoshi: (sighing) There is something I have to tell you. It may take a while…
(Hiyoshi tells Miyuki the whole story about what happened. After a few minutes, Miyuki responds.)
Miyuki: Oh my god….I-I-I’m so sorry. I didn’t know.
Hiyoshi: It’s okay…. I guess it would be okay for me to hang out with you tonight….today hasn’t been too well….
Miyuki: (smiling) That’s what I was wanting to hear. See you there at, say…… six o’clock?
Hiyoshi: Sure….six sounds fine. See you then.
(Hiyoshi hangs up)
(Narrator: After a while, Hiyoshi get’s his jacket on and heads out the door, grabbing his keys on the way out.)
(Hiyoshi closes the door behind him. A few minutes later, after Hiyoshi leaves to go to Hikari Café…)
(The phone rings again.)
(This time it is Kairi)
Message machine: Hiyo, you there?....I was just wanting to apologize about the way I acted earlier today. I hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me….anyways…I was wondering if maybe you wanted to hang out at Hikari Café? I’ll be there around six thirty. Hope to see you there. I’ll be waiting. Love you, ……bye Hyo.
(The phone message ends)

genius.
I absolutely adore your " A Winter's Lullaby" 'series'. I can't wait for the next one. ^-^
I especially admire how you set it up as a script. Very creative.
Keep writing, and I'd love to know what you think of my work.
Peace,

I love all types of anime. I am even creating one right now.
A winter rose wilted, reflecting one's once cherrished love. Never will that flower again bloom after death.
