Dead

Last I remembered,
My mom waking me 26 minutes before my death
As I was subtracted from my body,
I saw all walks of life gathered at my funeral.
Tall, short, of all color, shades and
I never knew I had so many mourn fans
No! so many enough friends.

I stood affixed, listening to the preachers word
talking about dignity
when everyone was in self pity
Some to mourn, some to mock, some just to be there.

So dead I was, well not really dead.
Let the dead bury their dead, so says my Master.
Going behind the scene, I went for a friends moms burial
making me literally dead among natures serial

But last I remembered,
I was there, I felt the emptiness of Life, the sadness
It was a painted sad picture to be framed,
Vanity upon vanity, all is vanity
It is not an experience to witness being
Dead!!
