Lust Shack
How I smile with satisfaction
At my love and his distraction
Giving pause to fickle moments
As the time surrenders still
Such a pattern of desire
Can’t be woven any higher
As he now temptation foments
Wearing down my weakened will
Give me love in consummation
Take away the day’s frustration
Seeking solace (needing pillows)
As the nighttime fades to black
Take my heart and take it gently
Take my body now, ardently
As the wind outside beats willows
On the windows of this shack.
While the others wonder, waiting,
Our return anticipating
We will steal the day like lovers
Freshly met like time was new
Then, returning with decorum
Hidden hints (they’ll all ignore ‘em)
As we mingle ‘mongst the others—
Oh, if they knew what we do . . .
But they haven’t got a clue.
