The Rushing Waves of Bewilderment
You came back now
and so did the fear
I feel more than your heart
whenever your near
There's also this feeling
I can't quite describe
It tears me in two
and compels me to hide
I've vowed to love freely
and give you my soul
But my head is the problem
and it's infinite hole
The deep dark abyss
that echoes the past
I swore I shredded that list
but the feelings just last
Forgiving sounds ideal
and love will always find a way
But waiting for these wounds to heal
gets harder day by day

Damn, that's really deep.
Damn, that's really deep. The wounds do heal, though, Geo. Don't wait for it, just let it happen naturally.
Nice to see a new poem of yours on here.

Thanks again..
and.. I sure hope they do. "THEY" say time heals all wounds, but I have to wonder if time just makes it easier to forget and if so, is forgetting really the right way to heal?
hmmmm
