or to think of how easily its lights can peek in
tweaking your world to pull you out of misery
making you lose your mind as you revisit history
horrible happenings, special occasions; memories flood back-
forced out; left alone for good- as new doors begin to crack.
closing off your past- dreaming your future as you go
feeling yourself fully as you begin to get lost in the flow
then something truly sinister sounds its alarm
it’s time to pack up and go- there’s no lucky charm
large or wide enough to keep you safe from an explosion
back and forth; here, then gone; and on... a perpetual erosion...
