Please dry all those tears
No words are spoken,
our looks suffice
What a toll it has taken,
at such a high price
My eyes photograph,
this moment, this place
Kiss on your nose,
my favorite on your face
I’m leaving now,
elevator has come
Hug you so tight,
heart becomes numb
Last glance at you,
See so many fears
Kiss you and whisper,
please dry all those tears

I liked this!
This was very good writing! I enjoyed reading it in all its sadness. Awesome job! I loved the line, "Kiss on your nose,
my favorite on your face." That was really cute =] Nice work

this is a classic
Powerful image in such simple, concise words. Have read it many times and it still has great impact. The sign of a work of art.
thanks
Thank you, thank you. Sometimes I just write what I am feeling without putting much conscious thought into it. This situation was a very painful one and I wrote it a few hours after it happened. I still remember it as if it happened today.
