THE GIRL IN PAIN

This girl in pain
Sitting all in vain
Flattered and caught by time
Being punished for no crime
Darkness has seized her heart
Light doesn’t seem to be in any part
At times she has no hope to spare
Her heart so innocent and bare
Her days are so empty and hollow
Nights so cold and full of sorrow
She has seen things falling apart
Separated from the people close to her heart
She has spent so many night unslept
During the days she did nothing but wept
Living away from her loved ones what can be worse
So gloomy and lonely, she is caught in this curse
She is lost in this unknown place where she has to stay
Her heart is broken as her friends are far away
To breathe that horrid atmosphere and dwell
And for that moment it seems like a human hell
How can she have her boldness to lay claim?
And boast some sort of title to her name
Chain of tears running down her soft cheeks
Her shattered heart, who knows what it seeks
The still that’s owned by her, who feels
She does no wrong or outrage when she deals
The things and the time may soon be right
But her heart and soul are lonely tonight
Yet she smiles on seeing reflections of the past
Sweet memories and the moments spent so gold cast
The crazy talks that made her laugh, those adoring faces
The moments that made her heart beat faster, those loving embraces
I tell you one fact if you believe it to be true
For that girl in pain is none but me
