I greet old age with a feeling of pride
Aches and pains,badges no need to hide
For years of work and fun has put them there
Sorrow and happiness i have had my share
My friends in hard times did remain
In good times they thought me insane
They say age is a number,but it is much more
It's a time to gather memories that you store
In the book of life you live filling each page
Towards the end of the book is a page,old age
All the pages towards old age have not been fun
But I lived them and did what had to be done
Sometimes I'd hurt or events made me cry
Planning new tomorrows my friends wonder why
I will not give up until the last curtain call
Even in old age I plan to live it all
