Now It Is Gone
I want the wake up good morning smile
Your shirt to put on to make the coffee
The memories of last nights shower
A touch that says, honey I understand
Being in your arms, feeling so safe
I had all this, now it is gone
A look that could make me feel brand new
The touch that said more then a word
Loving you,what a wonderful feeling
My mistakes, you'd laugh at then correct
You walking beside me with a feeling of pride
I had all this, now it is gone
Your side of the bed empty, but still warm
You holding me just as tight after passion
Needing each other ,as much as breath
The cup of tea, because I looked cold
Never feeling alone, even when I was
I had all this, now it is gone
The call saying I am sorry I didn't kiss you
A vase of wild flowers from our field
Never saying no, because you had to rule
I know nobody is perfect, but you came close
I want new memories, memories like this
How I miss what was,now it is gone
(Notice not one memory cost a cent to make.)

This has me in tears
Thank you for sharing your feelings of this beautiful love. Isn't it so sad how often people take for granite the wonderful things that are right there in front of them because of their own selfishness? I just hope that I have the opportunity to grow old with the one I love instead of paying a lifetime for my lessons. Thanks for sharing.
Nice words
thank you for the nice words.I envy the couples that grow old together.I feel sorry for the ones that live life without ever knowing this kind of love. Thanks again. From the old hippie.
