The fundation is crumbling
It will not stand the test of time
Words will not be the mortar to repair it
Not even pretty words that rhyme
It's going to fall
I sit and watch it crash
All over,it went down as a blaze of glory
A lightening flash
Remaining ruins spread across
the baren ground
Just bits and pieces of a stucture
these remains, all that can be found
It can't or won't be rebuilt
Soon you'll never know it was there
No one tended to the upkeep
to keep it standing
No one seemed to care
