Love was yesterday
Threw fate it ended in sorrow
Today love is a memory
Only to relive again tomorrow

But should the path
Take me in another direction
Perhaps away from desire
And not filled with affection

Then I will know
That it is God's will
And I have a memory
And there,there is love still

And though alone
As I stare at the stars above
