I Walk Alone

I walk alone and do so by choice
For days the only sound is my voice
I am not lonely,my needs are met
I've found nothing I can't deal with,yet
In hard times I reach for a power in the sky
Oh,like others at times I do cry
Then my tear ducts do get cleaned
And again happy times can be seen
Lived a good youth,was a happy wife
A mother,grandmother what a life
Today when some would worry and fret
Even in pain with a smile I set
There is so much more life to live
So much more I have to give
I'll continue to walk alone, but lonely not
Just thankful to you and all I have got

I feel the honesty

you expressed...
Very nice poem... made me remember my grandmom.
:')
Thank you!!!
Eric
