I Stopped Being Married
I heard a comment the other day
I hadn't looked at my life that way
He said she had been a widow for years
But in her heart she was still married
Loneliness wasn't one of my fears
And it seemed that load I too carried
You've had my complete heart so long
I wasn't aware you still did
Today you're in the part you belong
And I move to find a life to live
So should I meet someone special
I now have a heart to give
I'll not compare even in my mind
No other could ever be you
But out there is another great find
And to myself I'll be true

Here in Cincinnati, we've been without power since Sunday - over half a million Tri-state residents lost electricity...lights, access to the internet, cable and phone were suddenly cut off. Thanks to Huricane Ike! The wind damage was tremendous!
I can only imagine what those in the heart of the hurricane were experiencing. We saw up to 76mph winds that took down power lines, cable lines...and worse...atleast 4 people died from the wind storm. It was a Catagory 1 hurricane!
Anyway...glad to be up and running again. And happy to be able to read your writing. Hope you're doing well, my friend. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Ike paid a visit here also.I am amazed I still have my greenhouse.I am high up on a ridge but in lower land alot of flooding. I had heavy rain,high winds and was under a tornado watch and lost power.But came though ok.Thanks for the comment
