Chevy Pickup
That old blue chevy,my pride and joy
Driven by an old lady, not a young boy
It has chrome wheels all the way around
Oh the straight pipes, what a glorious sound
Driving it brings back a moment of youth
At other times I'll face the truth
As I roar through town a smile on my face
I'm tempted to ask that young guy to race
But I won't both my truck and I are old
Both alittle flashy and both quite bold
Another youth appoached me in town
The chevy pickups not for sale,I turned him down

Chevy Pickup
Used to own one myself! I can definately relate.
Good poem!
some old ladies refuse to grow old
I really do own and still drive this truck.I love the looks I get when people expect someone young to get out of it.Funny thing about the truck though seems the louder the radio the faster it goes lol
My Chevy was the same!
I miss it! Used to blare the music and stomp the gas.
Varoom
Gloria,
And I bet you have country music blaring from the speakers on that pickup and an American flag decal on the back bumper.
