Black Rose
I strip bare my clothes,
To reveal my black rose,
A tattoo of death and sorrow,
A symbol of past memories,
A look of hope into tomorrow.
The Black Rose upon my breast,
Was once a symbol upon his chest,
A silent scream escapes my mind,
Cause his head,
They will never find.
Rose thorns are jagged and twisted,
The shadow of death,
Fell over his grave,
As the night weather misted,
While I scatters flowers the color of mauve.
Black Petals scatter across my soul,
As it weeps in grief,
For the love that was stolen by a thief,
Mourning is a pain so sharp,
That it feels like a stake has pierced my heart,
Cause we never got those children and our future goal.
