love..
isn't the blooming roses
beautifully lined
in the fields of glory...
love..
isn't the sweet chirping sounds
romancing your senses
as the morning breaks...
love..
isn't the rainbow crown
to your perfect blue sky
after a gentle drizzle...
love..
isn't the butterflies
that flutter inside you
wanting to fly...
love isn't what we thought it should be...
love is..
the lingering beauty
after the blooms
have all dried...
love is..
the comforting silence
of knowing that with no words spoken
you are still understood...
love is..
the pitch dark night
littered with stars
and fireflies..
love is..
the feeling of freedom
the escape to a world
where you'll be made whole.

I really enjoyed this...I like how you structured it with "love is..." , wonderful. Real love goes beyond the flowers and the butterflies....it is brave, enduring, comforting...you captured this sentiment well.
