little did i know my life would take a detour
walking on one path
now suddenly on another
how did i miss the fork in the road
was it nighttime?
or the middle of the summer
when my steps got misguided
or so i thought
though it is difficult to see
i will trust the process
though the path seems rough
narrow and pretentious
the next step will allow me a change
i need to remember this...
