Worthwhile
~ Worthwhile ~
Convincingly, I once portrayed myself as strong. I said I needed no one,
But I deceived myself, for it was not with strength that I drew this conclusion,
but with weakness.
It is the ultimate vulnerability to need something outside yourself,
to need something over which I have no control,
to give someone the power to destroy the trust,
the faith which I have placed in them .
I can not shut out that which has become a part of my existence.
I can not quiet the voice that knows me so well,
So well that it does not even need to speak.
I have to believe in myself, trust myself to risk everything,
Because everything worth having involves risk,
Everything comes at a personal price.
The more I am willing to give of myself, the stronger I become,
Because it is those precious few things,
and those precious few people, that are worth the risk
that make this sacrifice, this price, this life
worthwhile.

It's a risk
worth taking indeed!
And when you decide to plunge into it...
Do it with gusto...!
There's no better way to do it...
As they say... JUST DO IT!
Found the construction of your words clear, direct and relevant!
Very nice and enjoyable!
Eric

~Visionary~
Jill you are more than a dreamer, you are a visionary. You have the heart and soul to understand what the human spirit yearns for. You have the vision to lead us there and stir the stars. You are a writer, not by trade, but by purpose. I admire you beyond all earthly treasures. You are a light.
Sincerely,
Kathy

Well, for once I am at a loss for words. I do write to convey my feelings and insights to others. My writing I feel sometimes seems simple on the surface, but there is a lot of heart behind it. Not sure about visionary, such a high compliment. Thanks for your praise, I admire you and your writing as well. So glad to have found this site and to count you as a friend.
Sincerely,
Jill
