When my journey is over
When my journey is over
I won't have a single regret,
there will be no long list
of things I haven't tried yet!
God gives us one life,
that's something we know.
Those who play it safe;
it's clear where they'll go.
But as for the rest of us
who do what we want;
the path that lay ahead
will be a different jaunt.
With life's many temptations
just waiting to be had;
I sometimes find myself drawn
to being a little bit "Bad"
Almost all of my life
I was the perfect child,
just this past year
I have met my "Miss. Wild."
Goodbye to cautious and shy
and being ugly and fat.
Those days are behind me;
there will be no more of that!
I enjoy meeting people,
being the friendly new me.
Entirely the opposite
of how I used to be.
I kept to myself,
tried to blend with the crowd.
My new personal goal
says that won't be allowed.
At ease and relaxed
is how I now spend my days;
not harried and unorganized
like in the past.. I'm amazed!!!
My husband is wonderful
and understands my change.
He says there's no problem
as long as our lives aren't rearranged.
Yes,I will rock the fun meter
to all it can endure;
so when I nostalgically look back
I will be smiling for sure!
