My Worst Fall

Always and forever
It’s our destiny and fate
Our minds will never sever
From their euphoric state

My sinister silhouette
Became a touch more pure
My heart is out of debt
For that, you were my cure

The touch of your lips
Supplies me with my breath
Observing the eclipse
Of life masking death

With your arms wrapped around me
Life is undefined
My demons are now free
The angels are confined

A sin in love with a virtue
That nothing will defy
The divinity already knew
Together we will fly

A gasp of reality
You brought me back to life
Providing my vitality
Supplying me with the knife

Sixty-two reads

I send you a birthday comment, since you have reached the
grand old age of "62" Reads,
even as I "read" you,
and your numbers may yet reach further....
It's about time - and, why not what your
poem needs!

Funny - how one keeps going back to certain people.
certain people's poems, have a ring of
welcome, that feel of
familiarity.
Anyway, that's how your
words are to me.

thanks :)

Thanks a million, I'm glad someone can enjoy my writing now too. I've always felt so confined about it and wanted to find a way to get it out there for other people to read (hence this site). Glad to know I have at least one fan! :)
