Lord, let me feel Your pain
Only then, hope is there...
End all that is not of Truth
Humble me to know Your reign.
Let me wash Your wounds
With atoning tears
Caress gently woeful Head
Wipe Your Face aggrieved by sin.
Lord, let me savor Your pain
Only then, I can see...
End all that is not of Light
Cast me to be one and free.
Let me suffer cross with You
Bearing It with faith and care
Caress gently woeful Limbs
Kiss Your Body marred by sin.
Lord, let me daily taste Your pain
Only then, love is there... pain me,
Cleanse me to abide unstained,
Safe and sainted in Your reign.

A Revival of Christ's Saving and Liberating TRUTH!
This masterwork speaks with compelling conviction of the appeal of the "beauty of holiness" and Perfect Sacrifice of Christ. These deeply penetrating words bring back to our modern consciousness the saving, uplifting and promising moral teachings of the Christian faith, which is unfortunately too often misunderstood in modern society. Brilliantly written as always. God bless...
TRANSCENDENT TRUTH....A "SOUL SAVER" !
Poesyrita unconditionally confirms:
Once again by these mystical words, I feel my physical presence is metamophosed, and my soul is drawn closer to our Redeemer. Sharing in Our Lord's Pain whether it be physically, spiritually, emotionally or intellectually will transform us in ways we never thought possible here on earth, and this love shared in pain will be greatly rewarded by Our Lord in our Eternal existence. God Bless YOU...I feel as if I've known you all my life just by reading your posts. I'm treating all my friends to a copy of "Voice of Thunder: Footsteps to Light"...I guarantee, they will never be the "same" after reading your enlightening work. It certainly has done wonders for our family's spirituality, and we wish to spread The Good News........... A gratefully humbled Poesyrita...
PRODIGIOUS STYLE...HITTING THE BULL'S EYE OF TRUTH WITH APTNESS!
G'DAY from The Land Down Under,
Singing the Lord's Praises
And your "VOICE OF THUNDER" !
Exceptional awe-inspiring style, grace and wisdom that can only reveal the work of the Holy Spirit within you. Read this particular gem to " The Daily Praise: Friends of Christ Society" last evening. Not a dry eye in the house my fellow writer...all were captivated by the delivery of each imperial heart rending line, which harrows one
cohesively to the bosom of Our Lord. Bless you for your apostolic work, done in exquisite taste of artistic verbum that can only lead one to the highest peaks of spiritual growth.

The society leaves you with the words of Oliver Goldsmith...

that one small head could carry all {that she} knew..."!

What's up Doc?
Something just doesn't seem right here with these posts. Can you help me out with it? Kind of looks like commercial advertisement . What do you think?
EXTENSIVE WORLD-WIDE NETWORKING
Admittedly, I do not understand why you would address this question to me, as I do not have any control over readers' comments on my written output. Fortunately, I have a rather extensive readership internationally as I have published a few scholarly written books, and also poetry in numerous international anthologies. Please, do check my bio and comments on www.christianpoetry.org www.poemhunter.com or just simply google Dorothy Kardas Psy.D. Th.D. and perhaps you will see the pattern and the enthusiasm of some of my readers to praise and advertise my publications. For example on some sites like poemhunter the poets are required to provide a Source from which the poetry has been copyrighted, so I also provided the source on this site. Enjoy the reading! Take care... Dr. Kardas
My mistake,
But I should let you know I have done research on you and found you have extreme feelings and beliefs in regards to Pro-Life and Anti-Abortion. I just thought this might be a means of recruiting followers. I do have a question for you, was your adoption a reason for you having such intense emotions about this issue? I did find that you have many family members involved in the Pro-Life cause Mary Kardas, Estelle Kardas, Catherine Kardas ,T.J. Kardas including your half sister Carolyn Johnson. Thanks for the invite to read your works, sorry but I will pass. I am not as a religious zealot as you. I rather like to write about a wide range of life's experiences. Maybe you'd like to read my works either here on the showcase or on my blog site

Clarification
Ron,
FYI... Mary Kardas, Estelle Kardas, Catherine Kardas, T.J. Kardas are NOT my family members. I have no idea who they are. All my closest Kardas relatives reside in Europe. However, I am thrilled that these individuals are supporting the Pro-Life movement for the evil of abortion is one of the greatest intrinsic evils in our society. Yes, Carolyn is my adopted sister.
Peace and joy... Dorothy
Ponder this
Dorothy,
I agree with your statement "abortion is one of the greatest intrinsic evils in our society" . But I do not impose this belief on another human being. What gives you the right to think otherwise? How is it that you feel comfortable to sit in judgement when that action is solely reserved for God? It is not of me to judge if abortion is right or wrong. The born and un-born child is the responsibility of the parent. Solely, judgement will rest on those shoulders and not by the hands of the Pro-Life movement. Dorothy I admire your conviction but I abhor your impositions.
What happened to the separation of Church and State ?
Ronald
Reply to "Separation of Church and State"
"Politico-religious wanderings?!"
First I must respond to this issue before I address the evil of abortion.
Unfortunately, many Americans think that the First Amendment says "Separation of Church and State". 69% of them believe that the First Amendment says "Separation of Church and State". Yet, these words do not appear in the First Amendment or anywhere else in the Constitution.
The First Amendment says:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances". The First Amendment gives citizens the Freedom to Worship God without Government interference. The statement of " Separation of Church and State" (which Thomas Jefferson used in his letter) simply means (and he emphasized this emphatically) that religion cannot be imposed by the state but can only be accepted in liberty. The Founding Fathers did not attempt to destroy or deface the work of Divine Providence but accepted it, and went on to organize the government in harmony with the Real Divine Order. They were inspired by reality, not by theory or speculation. In fact, they believed that the people are not the source of political authority but rather the medium by which it is expressed. Authority emanates not from the people but from God. If divine authority is dismissed, the scaffolding on which civil authority rests is obliterated and can sustain itself only by brute force. The connecting link between God and people is the natural law, which is transmitted through two channels: reason (purified by the light of faith) and divine revelation. Everything depends on God, including progress. The goal is to harmonize Church and State, religion and politics by comforming both to the Reality of the Divine Order. Modern liberalism is destructive insofar as it endeavors to separate the progress of society from religion. This is called "political atheism, for power is emancipated from all restraints, and thus everything is reduced to less than "low average" since popular and false opinions are substituted for Changeless Divine Truths. For these (and other reasons) G.K Chesterton reasserted that Church, which is divinely founded is "more immortally important than the State".
Read the Constitution and ponder... for it also speaks of the fundamental right to life. And, it is not possible to speak of the right to choose when a clear moral evil is involved, when what is at stake is the commandment "Do not kill!"
I shall continue this later... Dorothy
And I shall be waiting ...
There are more commands than just "Do not kill!" The one I am going to present to you is going to hit very close to home for you.I hope you are ready . Please be advised, I do not believe in abortion so please do not preach to the choir and deliver to me a sermon about "Do not Kill". I want to know about why you feel you can impose your beliefs on another. You might want to read my latest post today

Oh and Dorothy, I am truly sorry about your heart condition. I have feeling you will be thinking of me when it come to that.
