Fateful Trenchancy
The limitary eye
Can insensibly see,
And, the limitable bod
Cannot ever become nor be...
Has to be relumed
By Innocent Glow,
Sustained by unassailable
Oceanic Grace of Thee
To justly and lucently see...
The unbroken pleas
Can they verily worship Thee?
Glorify fittingly
By proclaiming unswervingly Thee?
Adhering devotedly
To Undying Decree -
Be honoring Thee?
Cultivating obedience to Thee
Be venerating Thee?
Untiring obedience
Is not motion splendorous?
While, the right intent,
Your untouchable demand?
Your Might pityingly
Crossing to lowly me
And, me striving along
The magnificent pathway with Thee.
The sacrosanctity crown -
Most pleasing... consoling Thee,
Gained on austerities,
Abstinent, ascetic posture,
And fervidly fasting,
So the soul can lavishly feed...
Your will unfailing (inexhaustible...)
Provides the only fill satiable.
Can a fervent striver
For fullness of Truth,
Rejoice in works of eternity,
Be illimitably fruitful
With no constancy of purgation,
The garland of self-sacrifice
And armory of self-mortification?
Celebrating knightliness supreme,
With no surrender extreme,
Supplying Grace resplendent, replete,
Vindication and fulfillment complete?
And, relying on The Morning Star -
The Ivory Tower,
Rendering pure Maternal aid
Through unrelenting intercessory power?
Is my eye rigorous
On foundational,
Ontological, Life-giving
Dependence on Thee?
Mindful of The All-seeing
Ever Watchful Eye over me?
And, can meritorious gifts
Be offered to Thee
To be repaid by Thee?
The Patient...
"Life-blood" sighs of Thee...
My wrestling loudly...
Violently...
To be innocuously restored,
(And as a dove free...)
Aching...
For heart unblemished
Formed by Thee...

Momentous challenge indeed!
The yearning for intimacy with God and sanctity is overwhelmingly evident in this diligently molded verse. The idea: "Can meritorious gifts be offered to Thee to be repaid by Thee?" is a climactic awakening. The gradual questioning is achieving a grand effect at rousing the mind and soul. That's what advanced poetry is made of... philosophically inclined mind, and where the content and form are balanced, with which you are clearly gifted. Too often, writing includes useless imagery, metaphors and the like that lead to a dead end, and the form then chokes the intended content, which from what I have read "extensively", you Dr. are never guilty of... apparently knowing that this stylistic choice is needed, mainly when touching upon timelessly significant matters.
The themes that make us sensitive to the things of the soul and God are so crucially required, so please do not take extended holidays from writing. It was splendid hearing from you! Rita & family
Salute to your long-sightedness!
Dear Rita,
Thank you for being an immovable encourager and sharing your thoughts kindly and generously. I absolutely agree with what you conveyed in the last paragraph. For some reason Woodrow Wilson's lines come to mind. I paraphrase: One cool or sagacious judgment is worth more than a thousand hasty counsels. And, it is imperative that we changelessly attempt to offer in one form or another the spark of light of Truth, providing it is brought into actuality with the right intention, that is, most pleasing to the "Infinite One".
May we continually and reverentially approach The Ultimate Lover and Sacrificer, remembering that "To honor Him whom we have made is far from honoring Him that hath made us"... DKK
Don't do it only out of fear of hell!
Doc! That was a long sabbatical! Ms. Rita is right! But it was well waiting for! Another grand "craftsmanship" here, and backbreaking work for me to fully absorb and appreciate it with Daniel Webster in hand. We are impressed how you present the substance of what a holy life entails. Yes, we must be minute by minute dedicated to God in practicing virtue, all of which needs to be done out of love for God & our fellow human beings not out of fear of eternal damnation. I admit that I fail terribly on fasting and "ascetic posture"! Doc what bothers me the most are those folks who claim that they "love" God yet continue to openly sin & offend Him. How can they forget Jesus' warning that "Those who love me keep my commands"?. Stupidity with no limits! My buddy Frank likes this thought the most: "The patient, life-blood sighs of Thee" saying "it is so pregnant with meaning."
I think I am repeating the obvious here, so I'll stop for today.
Please, don't let us wait for the jewels of wisdom too long for we need them for our spiritual maturation.
God bless! Stay well & keep the ink wet!

The Pinnacle of Ingratitude...
Dear Richie,
Thank you for your kind comments and most important reminders. Reading your thoughts always brings a smile and even an occasional chuckle. As you firmly declared, in order to stay in God's special grace, one must practice virtue with the purity of intention - only out of love for God and the neighbor; be separated from all evil - the secular and profane absurdity and garbage. Denying God's infinite goodness and not responding to God's ineffable/perfect love are the worst imaginable and abominable crimes. They are also the pinnacle of arrogant ingratitude! The Ten Commandments, as everything else God does, were also given to us out of His infinite love to protect us from evil and final damnation. They are "not a burden, but a signpost showing the path leading to a successful life."
May our hearts be always grateful, and may God preserve our transcendent dignity... DKK
As Our Saviour reminded us...
in some cases evil can be eradicated only through acts of self-sacrifice, fasting and other ascetic practices. Thank you Dr. Kardas for another poetic work crafted with force, persuasion & originality in which you clarified other essential elements of holiness. The greatest tragedy is not to become what God wants us to become. That is, to be holy, which is the only important task on this earth. It is difficult to achieve this goal, yet nothing is impossible with God and to God! As always what you have written & put so well together shows great passion and care for the fate and salvation of souls. You truly listen to God's loving voice. It really shines through...
Incontestable fools, lunatics and zombies...
Thank you for kindhearted words and the elucidatory affirmations regarding holiness as well as the gravity and eternal import of human foolishness in refusing to become what the Perfect Mind and Perfect Heart wishes us to be. Rejection in sharing in God's nature and divinity - and co-existent pure felicity - explicitly exposes the incontestable madness and idiocy of the human mindset. "The greatest sacrifice most acceptable to God is complete renunciation of the body and its passions. This is the only real piety" - Clement of Alex. , yet as the Scripture declares: obedience with the right intention is always superior to sacrifice.
May our wishes and works be guided by these prudential and endlessly beneficial and edifying tenets...DKK

Dear Friends in Christ,
Your good wishes, regards and support that you consistently express is an incentive for my personal change to become better in all that I say, "write" or intend to do, for which I am invariably grateful. But when what you read reaches your souls or minds in some positive way, woe to me if I dare to take credit for it... My prayer is that our eyes are focused on our own unworthiness.
With all blessings!

Dear DKK,Here is another
Dear DKK,
Here is another one fathmostless wisedom write, where there are many good words as I find, some are even needed to look up from my thick dictionary. Last time, I treat you as my teacher. In fact, i used to follow/and brush up my English because I in some other guys' poems, there are many newly created words even could not find in the ordinary dictionaries. You like to use difficult words but most are searchable. That they help me to learn and know more., thus, it is the reason--I like to read your poems. You can write and teach the readers the concepts you have written down. So far, I don't quite like those ancient words 'thee' s etc..
Most are very good I agreed with.(I would reread again and again, all your pices of poetry). They're my molds of learning.
There're little bits are like about in investigation on regional matters concern. I would like to make more understanding on/from your inner soul. Itis nice to be accepted!

Penetrating thoughts & sublime crafting!
Dr. Kardas, you really stirred my innermost depths with this marvellously crafted poem & spiritual questioning that every serious believer should take it to heart. Haven't written to you for a while but read faithfully your great poems. Some lines know by heart now. As you often repeat we can't do enough in showing gratitude for one of God's graces , never mind constantly given graces. The fact that I breathe & write to you on His Holy Day is God's mercy. I remember many ideas from your poetical creations and excellent books but one came to mind very powerfully when reading this poem. It relates to what Jesus said to one saint that He needs to grant a special grace so we will be able to receive even that specific grace and all other graces. Your God-given wisdom, talents and great erudition always shine through in books, poetry & all works. Forever grateful reader!
PRAISE BE THE MERCIFUL & GOOD GOD.. OUR CREATOR & SAVIOUR!!!!!
For this long poem needs to
Come back provide one more piece of my opnion on this topic:-
For this long poem needs to be deeply think and fully understand it throughroughly, and then I can give my opinion. Relating to the countries' religions although different, but the basically were the same purpose was very long, long ago, were created by the supreme kings or emperors, what it should be said as-- the policy of keeping the people uninformed or misinformed an obstrurantist policy.
The ancient admistrator, kings or emperors wanted to control their peoples in religional laws. They were so cleverly knowing peoples are simply obediently adhereing to their Gods. It was better than the human's laws. They could get rid of many troubles on the country management.
Religions were created over thousands of years, the whole world forget the orienal purposes. Every body is afraid of unable to reach the heaven or worrying going into the hell, if he is a criminal guy.
Western, European and American peoples want to enter heaven, but the Chinese want to go back their original home (go back to where he came from).
In fact, the five religions are doing the same thing, keep peolple as good as innocent as possible., every body is going to the same way. There is a heaven, if you belive it, otherwise, you only believe the religion is leading you as a good man, that you can living happily. Think more about how to keep health in you body.
it will become very, very complicate if you think too much deeply into it. I wish every body can live healthily with happiness.

To establish my poetry place for memory parents!
sfiawong! body more important than soul?!!!
You certainly missed the boat! By expressing these fragmented and false opinions you lost credibility!!! I'm glad my buddy Axiom brought my attention to what your ramblings are all about here! Let's be frank: our friend Doctor Kardas is the best known theologian around here. From what you ramble about it is clear you have no idea what doctor of theology means and you have the NERVE to give your opinion on our religious beliefs. Dr. Kardas is a scholar and expert about the study of God and matters of the soul. Do yourself a favor and read her books. Although seeing your clear deficiencies in the English language, you will have a hard time to read it through but do try.
You said that the Chinese just want to go back where they came from? SO WHERE IS THAT?! Heaven of course!
Be careful how you express your opinions and to whom? I hope that the good doctor won't mind what I had to tell you since she is also a doctor of clinical psychology, she will understand my justifiable response and upset on some of the things you said, especially giving her advice not to think about the soul. DO NOT EVER DO THAT AGAIN!
Wishing you from now on SMOOTH SAILING!
Capt. Ed
Hi, Mr. Capt.Ed.,Basically,
Hi, Mr. Capt.Ed.,
Basically, your thought about Dr, D. Kardas's truth about God, is correct. This kind of true questionable question is unable be solvable (to explain) even by to-day's scientist yet. But, could you tell me (of course talking about your spirit),
1.When you born, where did you come from?
2.When you die, where will you go to?
Your answer are surely 1. the heaven or paradise; 2. same as 1. (Where is it, sorry, not approved yet=no way. Scientist can't point out exactly.
My answer are 1. my original hometown, 2. same as 1. Our spirits will return back to where we came from. The dead bodies will be melt back to the soil, the earth.
I told this Chinese concept of the truth, is really valuable to be investigated. Meant to let you all know a new idea for people to believe what is it's true. I spoke about that relating five religions were on their same way to go.
Religions were designed by the admistrators who ruled their countries.
Could you answer the abovementioned two questions? If not, they proved you know nothing about the truth, where will you go after your death! -- It is a real true answer on my words!

A tree wants quiet, but the wind is blowing. My poetry place is for memory parents!
I shall come to meet you, as soon as you've a critique on my poem.
Wong is Wrong again!!!
To answer your questions: #1 we all were created by God in His image and likeness and came to earth through human vessels called parents - our immortal souls came from God - from the heavenly realm.
#2 Depending on how we live our lives (for example in Christian religions if we live according to the teachings of Christ, we will eventually live in Heaven but most of us will be purified in Purgatory first since we are not perfect as God is, and those who live in mortal sins and refuse to change their ways will be away from God for all eternity in a place called Hell. There is vast literature written about God's revelations to saints and scientists are constantly writing books about proofs on God's existence and theological matters. Read also some books written about people who were clinically dead and came back to life. You will be astounded what they have to say about Heaven and Hell. NOT ALL RELIGIONS WERE DESIGNED BY ADMINISTRATORS WHO RULED their countries! Where have you been living all these years? under a rock?! For example Christianity is the religion of Jesus Christ. It is a composite of the faith He inspired, the teachings & moral practices He communicated, the spirituality He urged on His followers, & the consequent form of civilization which for 2 MILLENNIA have been called Christian. It is above all the objective principles of belief, worship & human conduct that give substance to this civilization. The law of selfless love, which Christ said was a new commandment, by which those who are truly Christian would be recognized:"Love one another as I have loved you." It is pattern after the manner of Christ, WHO IS GOD, loved the human race and died for all to be saved from sin and eternal death - even for His enemies. In practice, this means that we are to love by wishing only well to one another, by praying for one another and helping one another. Do yourself a big favor Wong and read carefully the Holy Bible which was entirely inspired by God Himself (read also scientific/theological/philosophical materials that confirm it all).
If you don't believe in Jesus who died for you and me, then this sailor has nothing more to say but only for your enlightment to PRAY.
Capt. Ed
P.S. This dialogue has no place on Dr. Kardas' blog, but I had to set your sails straight before your ship sinks...
God is the Root of our own being.
Dr. Kardas, thank you for another masterpiece that only genius of your kind can create... great combo of eternal wisdom inspired by God & brilliant style! I totally agree that the deepest level of the relation with reality is found only in the deepest friendship & relation with God. The rest is illusion! In this skillfully written poem you provided the ways how to achieve this vital re-union with God. There are many poor & lost souls who believe what is convienient to them - they can't handle the truth! Instead, they are wasting this short time on earth and money in improving their health only and neglecting the soul. Happiness can't be dependent on wellness of the body where the soul is sick or stained by sin. Body will decay but the soul lives forever! It is tragic that people refuse to believe or live only on a superficial level, never discovering the true & deeper meaning of life. It takes a special intellect and soul to appreciate fully the depth of insight in each of your works. Dr. you don't waste any line! We don't read poetry that is often about nothing or subjective opinions and affairs - who cares! What is timeless revives the soul. No wonder readers flock to you on all your sites.
P.S. I just had to admonish sfiawong for he seems to be unaware about the sacredness of God's revealed Truth. The crew will pray for him...
God bless...
