What is it that brings us the pain?

I used to think it was God, but then I got to know Him.
I now know that is impossible.

All of our lives have pain because we are inadequately equipped to live this life.

When I see the nature around me I see that each part is uniquely designed for it’s environment. Each has it’s part to play in nurturing the earth and defending it’s own life.
Thorns at just the right height, claws and teeth were needed. Speed runners and sprinters abound in the natural world.

There is a confidence of these creatures to knowing that they are equipped for their niche.
When they get outside their niche they are doomed without help.
You can grow tomatoes in a hot house in winter. It’s actually not an abomination, it is a
Gift of our intelligence. We can create a safe place for the tomatoes, without it they would die.

When we are born we have only our spirit and feelings to guide us.
No natural defenses and undeveloped intellectual defenses and yet most of us survive.
We actually thrive. We do so because of love. Never at any other time in life are so many people devoted to our every whim and need and thought and function.

The gift of our spirit is the way we grow when we are older.
Using this gift and letting God show us a safe niche. Allowing the pieces of God on this earth to love us and nurture us when we are in need.
We are different from the animals in that we have constant need of this gift, sometimes more and sometimes less.
There is no end of the abundance we can take. What joy.
