What are we looking for?
Our wishes are of many kinds
Money, love, fleeting smiles
But most often one finds
These satisfy for a little while
But the meeting of like minds
Will continue to the end of time
I’ve thought that wild abandon
Is great while it lasts but then
The spirit is willing the flesh weak
It’s then that new pastures we seek
The search is hard I must remind
Happiness may not what you find
Being in synch, our minds linked
Is the ultimate rush, I would think
We search to the ends of the earth
To know really, what this love is worth
Sparks change to a consuming flame
That’s when you fall, in love, again

You surely made some very salient points in this write. There are things that can bring immediate but short lived pleasure but that genuine love that is so hard to find is really the keeper.
