The mess we are in
If virtue is not wanted
And honesty a sin
And purity parodied
What a mess we’re in
If gluttony is the style
And greed the way to go
Won’t allowing excesses
Cause dishonor grow?
If lies are accepted
With statistics as truth
Swearing by TV talk
Is done by old and youth
If hunger is deserved
And illness a penance
Is survival of the fittest
Where our human race ends?

Hey Dolan
Very true. I think when everything turns into 'Self' instead of 'selfless' desire then it all spirals out of control.' Where our human race ends' hopefully by having gained knowledge of ourselves: Meaning.
