Time and reincarnation
The sun warms my shoulder through the scattered leaves the grass and earth beneath
Cools me the balance of my day a sweet and bitter revere, I hear no cars no people bustling just the creatures whom I share this brook and shaded meadow.
Cows grazing the rabbits congregating birds flocking, the social events of which we forget are the first and simplest yet wasted without regret.
A dragonfly that buzzes upon the shimmering surface of the brook would make a tasty morsel, for the summer cloud now shades the sun to signify the days near done those quiet times between you and I still burned deep within my mind so now and then I close my eyes, remember your hand softly holding mine as we sat beneath our favourite tree though long a go will never leave my memory nor be jaded by age or my blissful daydream ever fade.
