Mothers Are Crying

Mothers are crying,

Their sons are dying.

Since time immemorial this has been so.

Men in power send boys, to war, for what? I don't know.

Now the war wages, no boundries are there,

Mothers are crying, their children are dying, hardly seems fair.

This war not as many casualties they say,

As back in the wars in the old day.

But Mothers are crying,

Their children are dying,

On both sides the funerals progress,

The killing goes on we understand less.

Why are we there, to speak out treason.

So we say nothing, silence is the season.

But on the air the wailing of parents,

Young lives cut short, we have to bair it.

This war is wrong, we were lied to and decieved.

Bring out troops home today, give mothers a repreave
