Mothers are Crying

Mothers Are Crying

By Debborah Jensen

Mothers are crying,

Their sons are dying.

Since time immemorial this has been so.

Men in power send boys, to war, for what? I don't know.

Now the war wages, no boundries are there,

Mothers are crying, their children are dying, hardly seems fair.

This war not as many casualties they say,

As back in the wars in the old day.

But Mothers are crying,

Their children are dying,

On both sides the funerals progress,

The killing goes on we understand less.

Why are we there, to speak out treason.

So we say nothing, silence is the season.

But on the air the wailing of parents,

Young lives cut short, we have to bair it.

This war is wrong, we were lied to and decieved.

Bring out troops home today, give mothers a repreave

DebborahAnn...

I agree with this write 100 percent!
it isn't fair, nor is it easy....for both sides as u mentioned.
especially when the cause is so unclear and not justified....both sides, fathers and brothers, sisters and daughters, fighting and killing eachother just for what?
bcuz someone says so....it's like my mum used to say.....if someone told u to jump off a cliff, would u do it?
this is what we are doing, it's illogical and the cowards are the ones making all the daring orders.
May God have mercy on all our boys, and may the mothers tears be a sign of the injustice to to us all.
peace
