Where The....
Where the fox and the rabbit run free,
But struggle to find harmony
Where the horse and the pony run wild,
Where the badger and mole reside
Where the essence of nature
Can carress, gently your skin,
To form a wonderful glow
Radiating out, from within
Where the swallow and lark fill the sky,
And startle the mellow magpie
Where the deer stand relaxed in the shade,
By the trees at edge of the glade
Where the warmth
Of a day, such as this,
Lifts your soul
Like a soft tender kiss
Where the oak grows so strong and so high,
Where the willow leans forward to cry
Where the bluebells rejoice in the sun,
Where the butterflies dance, just for fun
Where I cherish
Each moment with you,
Beneath a sky
Of the very deepest blue

Gentle
A beautifully gentle piece of poetry Dave,
I can see why living where you do, appeals to you so very much.

I'm so lucky to live here, it's all on my doorstep! And I love and appreciate it now, more than ever. Could never live in a city again, that's for sure.
Thanks for the read and positive comment, always appreciated my friend,

This one makes me
want to visit such a beautiful place, but I would be afraid I would never want to leave. Once again, a beautiful peace Dave!
Total abstinence is so excellent a thing that it cannot be carried to too great an extent. In my passion for it I even carry it so far as to totally abstain from total abstinence itself.

Thank You
Elizabeth, I'm glad you enjoyed. I'm sure there must be some pretty beautiful places near to you, you probably have better weather too!
Thanks for the read and comment,
Dave
Not sure about the weather
it al depends on where you live. We do have some pretty places here, but unforuntanly they are riddled with some very ugly people and I am not talking about the way they look. I take it from your replies that you don't do the city very well, I on the other hand could not survive without at least going to Atlanta once every couple of months. My dream is to visit New York.....LOL. And England and Italy and................
