A Week In Haiku
Monday, Oh what joy!
Need another holiday,
Back to bloody work!
Tuesday, work again!
End of the week, out of sight,
Tuesday always drags!
Wednesday, end in sight!
Feels like I'm getting somewhere,
Head down, keep going!
Thursday, bit tired now,
Best thing about today is,
It's nearly Friday!
Friday, fish and chips,
An old English tradition,
Curry for me please!
Saturday, football!
Win or lose, it truly is
The beautiful game!
Sunday, day of rest,
So believes the single man,
No wife list for him!!
