Shit Happens
Shit happens,
Now and again,
We all get our share,
So let's not pretend.
It can vary in size,
Sometimes it can stink,
But don't think you're alone,
When you're stuck in it thick.
Hold your head up high,
Perhaps pinch your nose,
Meet it head on,
Take all the blows.
When the shit hits the fan,
There's a hell of a mess,
But it will all disappear,
In time, more or less.
Sometimes the smell
Lingers on for a while,
But don't let it get you,
Fill your stomach with bile.
Shit happens daily,
All over this land,
Don't think it's just you,
Just understand.
When shit happens to you,
And you're at your wits end,
I'll offer my hand,
And stand by you, friend.
