Pants!
Funny sometimes
That the words won't come,
When other times
There's half a ton.
Sometimes it's great,
How they fall into place,
That always gives me
A smiley face :)
Somedays it's a struggle
To find just one,
Those days are a nightmare
And not much fun :(
So I think I'll do a rhyme
About writing feeble,
Oh yes, how good,
How totally not original!
Most suffer sometime,
With 'writers block',
Looking for the key
To help them unlock.
So here's another piece,
About searching for words,
While the emptiness in my head
Is circled by buzzards.
I know it's proably boring,
Have you even got this far?
Or have you gone to do something more exciting?
Like washing the car.
This is already tedious,
I'm thinking to myself,
Maybe I should just leave it,
With the dust on the shelf.
Just another forced rhyme,
Just another forced write,
To post up in my blog
With the rest of my shite.
Bet you're yawning now,
Because this piece is way too long,
You could be catching up on other stuff,
If you hadn't logged on!
Think of all the things you could be doing,
Instead of reading this piece of dross!
You could be writing something better,
Is your day already a loss?
You could be writing a real gem,
Your best ever piece,
Instead of reading this,
Wondering when it's going to cease!
You can't still be reading,
You must be bored stiff by now!
This piece is going nowhere,
It's got no factor that says 'wow'.
Perhaps you're one of those
Who's got to make it to the end,
Once you've started, you must finish,
It's a trait you can't ammend.
Good luck to you, reader,
My apologies for wasting your time,
With a bunch of meaningless words,
That I'm trying hard to rhyme.
I really should just end it,
This write is really pants!
There's nothing to take from it,
Nothing here enchants.
I should thank you, reader,
You've nearly made it to the end,
You've stuck with all the bollocks
And the rubbish I have penned.
When you've finished this,
Find anothers work to read,
It will make you realise,
Just how pants this is, indeed!
Last verse now,
Thank God, its's nearly done!
First lines come back to mind,
Funny sometimes, that the words won't come!
