Invisible Sweet
Sitting I my corner of the world,
tears roll down my face.
No one dares to comfort me.
Do you sense my anguish?
Clutching my pillow,
hiding my face from the light of day.
No one there sees me.
Do you sense my loneliness?
I rest my head against the wall nearby,
thoughts run rampant in my mind.
No one is there to listen.
Do you sense my confusion?
I dream of a life
full of hope and peace.
A wish is made then and there.
Do you sense my desires?
Slowly I rise,
Footsteps softly come toward me.
You pull me close to you.
Do you feel my relief?
I wrap my arms around you tight,
swearing never to let go.
A calm engulfs my soul.
Do you feel my love?
