Why does my computer
Feast on the documents-
That I have saved-
to or as-
I know not where-
Although I swear-
By all common sense-
That I can retrieve them any time hence-
I am told that somewhere-
They must exist-
In that jumble of pathways and convoluted maze.
I search and fuss but all in vain-
They have simply evaporated-
I am convinced-
just to cause me pain.
And why does my desk top
Spontaneously rearrange
With icons vanishing and
Warning flags flashing-
Just another frustration-
To drive me to distraction.
