“Son Of My Son”
“Son Of My Son”
Son of my Son, so sweet, so precious, just a little dear
Great big smiles, a bit of talking, his laughter I long to hear
Son of my Son, completely unique,
One of a kind,
Big bright eyes, soft blonde hair, tender kiss on his cheek,
My Son, a baby, comes to mind
Son of my son, just a little guy, not quite two,
Learning to talk, boy can he walk, not yet able to tie his shoe
Son of my Son, full of life, with times of being ill
Never giving us strife, He, living a long life, is our will
Son of my Son, with all his tiny clothes, short little jeans
Before we know it, he’ll be growing into his teens
Son of my Son, he was given the name Blake. A. A. on August 2006
His given name, handed down by his father, three grandfathers,
So you see, a bit of a mix
Son, Son of my Son, whom I miss, love both quite dearly
This poem was wrote out of the love for my Son, Son of my Son
From the moment your lives begun
I have loved you both sincerely
