I’m so lost … alone
I can’t find my way from here.

Trapped … my soul
The chains of darkness, they hold me back.

Sun sets … close my eyes
A deep hunger within my soul.

… And I weep

A new day … same song
I can’t find my way from here.

A light … descends
Tears roll from off my cheeks.

Filled … my soul
The chains of darkness, they fall from me.

Morning light … shines through
Warmth fills my tender heart.

… I believe

… I believe
