THE QUARTET
Erin comes and walks so fair,
With angel’s feathers on her hair,
Fine and pretty as the sky,
A sweet melody, a sibling’s choir!
I see the gentle and willing hearts,
Of some feathers across the town,
I shut my book and stretch my knees,
Someone’s striking the ivories!
They stride with ease and confidence,
And catch the gaze of waiting bench,
Head & shoulder caught reclinin’,
To a soft classic violin!
The hall’s filled the park’s packed,
Esteemed audience they truly rock,
Charming faces and winning hands,
With vibrant beating drums!
They pull the fellows at Lansdowne Road,
Tossing music to the world,
Luck and beauty and too much a blessin’
With a singing barefoot queen!
From a distance I fix my eyes,
Dazzling feathers of Irish skies,
Inspiring moments I truly found,
Smiling Quartet across the town!

A work of art...
This is fantastic, as soon as I read it I felt I had to read until the end...excellent.
Thanks Jewel! ;-)
Owsss! ;-) I can't believe it...Thanks for your appreciation. I always love The Corrs and their music so I wrote this especially for them.. though they're not performing together as a band... Andy is left performing for herself still I support her!!! (Andrea is the queen of my music collection)
Each stanza is specially written for each of them!

That's OK, you like The Corrs? They're a sibling band aren't they? You can tell it's a great poem dedicated to them!
