Sweet Intimacy

Alone last night,
You took me by the hand
Led me into a secret trail
Underneath the rows of palms!

We strolled the quiet park
Adorned with yellow lights,
The soft sheet of grass below
And the gentle breeze above!

We felt the warmth advancing
At the heap of summer wind.
It jeered the one’s approaching
But the autumn wind didn’t give in!

They exchanged their wiles and feats
As we shared our sweetest kiss.
We let them had their funny jives
While fire of love burnt in our eyes!

You fondly stroke this face of mine
And whispered something in my ear,
“Your thoughts had dwelled within my mind
Since the cold days of December ”.

“And upon my bed each time I lay,
I always weaved my fantasy,
There beside me, you would stay
While my arms wrapped you so closely”!

“Tell me then what’s yours my dear,
For I see something in your smile.”
I told him once, “I want you near,
To dance and kiss me all the time”!

The palms’ leaves had bent in curves,
As two season winds vied its course.
The crimson love we held inside
Had sent a quiver through our spines!

Still we streamed some flirty lines
Which sweetly flowed throughout the night.
This moment in time bequeathed us kindly,
The untainted joy of intimacy!

Till’ we stood still and held each other.
And talked of nothing much at all
Just the constant smiles to one another
In every season we will recall!
