In the silence of our minds,
Our hearts speak.
Revealing secret sentiments
Which survive for times
Leaving nothing behind.
For memory lives…
In the fullness of our hearts,
Our eyes speak.
Words flow through,
Streaming with pure lovingness
In warm delightful bliss.
And the look of love reveals …
In uttered emptiness of our lives
Our spirit bends.
Yearning for something sublime
To fill, to sustain and to carry on
Yet the soul is left bare,
For God alone can fill…
