On Monday morning thirty guests came in,
Walked down the lobby as excited as they could be,
Greeted the mentor, smiled to one another and the potential rivals,
They sang, they ran, they played and danced much to their mind desire!

On Tuesday morning same group came in,
Ran along the lobby as sure as they could be,
Met another mentor, winked at three chums and held a stare at rivals,
They wrote, they read, they drew, and counted much to their heart desire!

On Wednesday morning lesser by seven they came,
Tramped along the lobby as bored as they could be,
Ignored the mentor, met a martinet, kissed two chums and kicked a rival.
Some listened, some swore, some cried, and hide much from their troubles inside!

On Thursday morning lesser by six they came, one was a little late.
Turned along the lobby and walk as careful as they could be,
Befriended the mentor, compromised with the martinet and married the chum.
Some pondered, some wondered, some reconciled and decided much to the dreams they thrive!

On Friday morning the solid seventeen came in,
Advanced with cadence and as happy as they could be,
Salute the mentor, thanked the martinet and esteemed the chum.
They sang, they marched, they stood with head up high and shook hands much to the life they find!
