Evening Walks

Along the trail of gray and mist,
I walked a mile at nightfall.
My eyes were set toward the distance,
A hazy field of gloom.

The course was dense and for a while,
I shook the path, I trampled on
Just then I saw, upon my footprints,
There rose a scented flame.

My shadow hopped as night persisted
This midnight fog I got collected
I saw fireflies flown across the channel
Came rushing through my hair.

Charmed by the night delighted & awakened
Flickering light suspended in midair
But then at time when dawn succeeded
The scent and fireflies dashed toward the moon.

I like this

very beautiful, a different look at a hazy, gloomy morning. Very nice
